Not sure if it is just Perth, but suburbs become trendy and hot and everybody wants in. Highgate is in at the moment. Buyers are paying too much for rubbish small units and old dumps. The old story though. Suburb is quiet and nice and starts becoming popular, new bars, shops more people, then reaches stage where too noisy and problems. My view is once you reach the $1.2m price you are better off going up the hill to Mount Lawley where blocks are bigger and quieter streets. Menora has big blocks and grand houses but who wants to spend all your time gardening and maintaining a castle. Like vintage cars great to look at but labour of love.
