i find the latest carry on with the mint somewhat bewildering.
they are sacking a heap of people due to, they say, an easing on the sales of gold. i find this to be extremely doubtful as gold sales worldwide are strong.
if gold sales are abating at the mint there most likely are other mitigating reasons such as the requirement to provide proof of id, or too expensive or people just worried that the gold they buy may not be entirely kosher due to the recent hullabaloo over dosing.
