You're full of sheet - have you ever been to Northern Ireland ?? or lived there - I doubt that very much. The facts are that the Catholic side of the equation were pushed to beyond breaking point - the establishment did there usual and all hell broke loose.
The IRA would not have been anywhere near as successful if it were not for the support of the local population from which the Republican Army drew its members. The facts are that you cannot subdue they will of the population for ever - proved throughout history time and again - you have no idea what caused the situation in Ireland - that much is crystal clear.
