The crap suburbs being thrown up along the Eastern side of the freeway are also going to get flogged imo. They are rubbish. Poor location, poor standard of housing, and miles from anywhere. People in Perth call the freeway the Rabbit Proof Fence!
The winners imo are places like just south of Rockingham, where you have older suburbs close to the beach and the rockingham town centre with the train, hospital shopping centre etc. within an easy drive, bike ride or walk if you want to take a stroll.
Redevelopment already happening and more to come imo. If you're so inclined. Don't be put off by the bogan tag, the beaches are beautiful along there, and the foreshore strip gets better all the time imo.
But a falling tide may drag down all boats. There are many risks to the downside for WA at the moment.
