I'm no tech guru but from last nights roadshow, Mark said they secured a data cable that runs from Aus to wherever they need it so its secure. He gave the impression that they paid for this cable to be laid. My opinion is they perhaps paid for exclusive use of one already there but I didn't clarify with Mark. All I know is that it's apparently secure and current clients don't have an issue with security.
Anyway this cable access was set up prior to Integer being acquired.
