My son who is a FIFO sold up on the Gold coast and moved to Cottesloe to cut flying time from the Pilbara. I had not been to WA for a number of years and was most impressed on my visit. The sleepy town is now vibrant and booming. Beautiful beaches and parks the eating scene is equal to Melbourne and Sydney with some outstanding little cafes and resaurants all over Perth. You Perth residents should be proud of your City. Just a little warm for me and the distance from Victoria a little taxing but I am going back in the Winter as it leaves the Gold Coast for dead. I hope it can remain and not turn to crap like our eastern state capitals. The airport a little congested and full of change over FIFO workers.
