Amigo, in Sydney the government decided about 8 years ago to bring back electric trams. It has cost billions. Why couldn't they introduced electric buses with rechargeable batteries? There would have been no need for the overhead wires or rail tracks. And by the way, Geroge Street is still an absolute mess, and no trams are running. I really don't know how some people and businesses have coped.
