When they (Philippine's) allow the Chinese to come in and export unprocessed high grade class 1 nickel (basically pay) in tonnages that make the eyes water, to the extent they manipulate and devalue the international metal price to loss making below production cost levels in a cash grab.
THEY DESERVE WHAT THEY GET.

I am quite happy that the mines are now starting to either run out, or run thin on reserves, prompting a review.
The Pilipino government are waking up to the stupidity of their policies and about time. I hope they enforce onshore processing as well.
They can only sell it once and to export bulk dirt for processing offshore is the height of stupidity IMO.
