Talking to a interesting mechanic who works on hybrids last week and is developing and testing his own electric bicycles. His opinion, not hard to figure out either, that car companies will have hidden redundancies in electric cars built into the electric components. The costs will be brought up by non fixable components that need changing rather than replacing a small item within.

And the thing with solar power payments from power companies. What a total joke? I recently put in a 6.5kw system and still have to pay the western power. Even after providing them with way more power than I used. I get cents while they earn dollars.

In the future I will be self reliant and will tell them to go F themselves. Just need batteries to become affordable, if they ever do.
