If the price of Cobalt is based on the price in China which I believe is the case with some if not most contracts and China has a virtual monopoly on supply, it will be in China's interest to eventually drive the price down because it is a cost to their battery business .... and it is the battery business that will drive the car business. The world cannot afford to allow the Chinese to gain a monopoly advantage that allows them to control price.
