I think Minara minerals is very relevant to the birthing of this KNP operation.
Minara was commissioned by Twiggy as Anaconda.... speculation was it was an absolute disaster and a quick google search will outline this. Summary, US funds that invested were not happy. Comissioning was not smooth and cost overuns. Glencore, Anglo America and the US capital markets and London funds were tapped and Twiggy was removed.
It was a large laterite nickel cobalt operation and it created a bad wrap for that type of operation and hence the difficulty in ARL finding >billion investment with a market cap a fraction of the price.
