That is interesting and slightly confusing to me. A lot has changed in battery chemistry since then. Maybe the new higher energy density LFP batteries require more lithium or they were able to decrease the lithium content in lithium ion batteries. The chart does show lower theoretical Li for LiNiCo.
I tried to find current composition of batteries a little while ago, but couldn't. I'm taking Benchmark's word for it. I agree LFP is here to stay.
