Fingers crossed our intenrnational friends gave the Resources Minister some pointers on what needs to be done in Australia to help them help us?

At the least it should signal that our resources sector won’t be introducing any new red tape/costs while the potential for rising costs to get nickel out of Indonesia only grows.
Another 15,000 tonnes minimum taken out of the nickel market this year? Just how many times can 36,000 - X be ignored? Pricing shows that simple equation is already influencing buying as the US$7+ price solidifies.

A largely ignored market- even as it heads towards being the world’s most populous- shows signs its development is gaining pace. As always the largest ships ( nations/companies/markets ), takes the longest to turn.

Something to watch for with India is the deployment of Nico batteries as so much of their vehicle fleet consists of smaller cars & especially bikes as they often use more energy dense batteries. As a nation the point that Nico batteries offer decent recycling potential will of course influence things moving forward.
Of course there is a lot of stainless required to develop a nation as well!
Never forget- the bulk of supply growth has come from one island, Sulawesi, and one area of that island in particular, the Morowali Regency. It’s a very small area.
A yearly monsoon, occasional earthquakes and rising costs mean the whole thing could change quite dramatically in a very short timeframe & all readers can check the charts to see what happens here at times like that.
Compared to WA it does rest on shaky ground.
