Spot on mate- I’ve only got two people on the whole site on ignore & neither of them are stock forum posters.
Well noted on the buy : sell side of the table as we’ve all seen a couple years together now in the battery sector and winter here is the hardest time so I just do other things & wait for the weaker hands to sell out- they eventually run out of shares to gift the bigger buyers & things take off.

When prices are down we’ve seen the doomsday people come out, yet prices for the minerals needed keep moving up- nickel & cobalt were more expensive in 2017 than 2016 & they are more expensive again than last year again.

Then we have the fair comments about how prices going too high will encourage chemistry changes but the same problem goes unanswered by both the sky is falling & the prices are too high folks- what do battery makers do until at least 2025?

The answer doesn’t change- the battery makers need more nickel & they need more cobalt & just as the crunch really hits home we’ll already be in production & be able to capitalise on the high prices.



In the above phtoo we can see how production has been growing- but what we can also see is how warehouse levels get eaten up each year, in concert with those warehouse levels.

Higher production over time yet higher prices? That’s an industry that is growing in, ( battery in particular ), production capacity over time faster than the supply can keep up.


All that factory production capacity won’t be thrown away for at least 5-10 years- the companies who have been building that new capacity have committed themselves to a nickel/cobalt intensive pathway by the building of each new factory.
