Energy storage set to double by the time we are producing, by 2022 we might remind the author of the article, & lithium batteries dominate that space.

Note also the market share of companies who need to rely on Western consumers being comfortable with their products- easily the majority of world production.

Can we say to ourselves, to debate both sides, ‘yeah but the growing consumer markets of say, India & China may not care as much about those things as Westerners do’, ( not putting those nations down but I think that their media might not be as full on as ours as far as being happy to make normal people feel bad about their daily activities & purchasing habits ), & that’s a fair point- except when we remember that most of the batteries are produced by companies who largely rely on Western investors, ( shareholders like you & I ), & of course, Western financing.

We won’t allow companies to get away with much these days & sending money to a DRC government that practices what is basically slave labour practices, especially regarding children?

That won’t sneak under the radar for very long & any company with connections to the DRC will quickly find itself the target of a #twitter campaign- or whatever social media platform people move to if that dies down.

It’s becoming obvious that we now have enough institutional investment here that there is an incentive to not let the SP fall much below 90cents.

Why? Well would you want to be the person who steered your investment company funds in to this only to see the price fall?

    I would not.

Our peers have sold or committed their upside potential, compared to those peers we have a huge amount of deposits, compared to those peers we have low debt, ( zero, actually ), compared to those peers we have more resources & more varied resources, compared to those peers we own our tenements outright- we don’t need to share anything we make with anyone.

All 3 will go well but the 1 company which hasn’t yet seen its acceptable ceiling is ARL- the markets already proved it will pay over $2 for us & that was when cobalt & nickel was cheaper, we were 6 months further away from production & there wasn’t yet a public whisper by BHP & us- our whisper being we will sell material to a third party for processing & of course BHP’s whisper being that they will buy thier party material for processing just near our largest deposit.

Basically our potential has not yet been sold & it has not yet been reflected by an established SP range of $2~

To any foreign friends not sure of when to dive in? We here in Oz have a tax called ‘capital gains tax’, which is basically 50% on any capital gain, for example $50 of a $100 profit made in shares... but after 12 months we only pay tax on 1/2 of the profit.

Long story short do you want to buy ARL at about US70cents now & know that in 12mths when we will be worth even more money, quite possibly a lot more than it is today & at some point back to the AU$2 and more mark, ( US$1.50~ ), you will potentially only have to pay tax on 1/2 of your profit or do you hesitate & perhaps make the same profit but pay 2x the tax you could have if you held for 12mths...

The market changes rapidly but Australia tax law does not & as our financial year starts in July, is almost guarantee that there will be no change to that tax law between July 01 this year & June 30 next year- I believe that any tax law change never affects the year the change is made anyway- they can’t change the tax halfway through, it’s too difficult, costly, confusing & aggravating for taxpayers & also takes a lot of time to do even if the government wanted to.
