Halal = legal, correct, approved.
muslims believe god is pure and for you to be able to worship Allah correctly you then must try and attain purity.
Halal meat only means the approved and correct way to slaughter meat to maintain physical and spiritual purity.
the rules for slaughter are as follow.
no other animal can view the slaughter including the animal be slaughtered.
the Animal must not be harmed, abused or see the knife.
the knife must be sharp enought to cut the jugular vein in one go and while pronouncing the name of god
the animal must bleed out removing most toxins and impurities in the blood.
90% of Australian Abatoires slaughter animals in this fashion as its the healthiest and cleanest way. the majority of australian meat is exported to the middle east so its all the same. the only difference is they are stunned first then cut, they wake up and bleed out while hanging.
the halal hay comment is just a hate post trying to discredit the muslims for helping the farmers. obviously some would prefere the hate and ignorance against muslims to continue.
