Yeah lezok, if the allow Alcoa the license to clear most of the Jarrah forest, then a one big pit whats the difference. Alcoa has another 50 years to clear huge slabs of Jarrah forest. Nobody cares anymore. Alcoa do a reasonable job of remediation, but its never the same. W.A has sacrificed a lot to the mining industry.
