If that is the case, then there are 8.14 Million shares that MUST be bought back at some stage. This is absolutely non negotiable and they must be bought at whatever price the market dictates.
The way I see it, the more short positions, (regardless of how they have affected the SP to date) the more buying pressure. 1.5% of issued capital is pretty strong pressure I would think. A positive announcement will cause some pretty serious pain for shorters and drastically exaggerate any upward price movement.
Any more thoughts on this???
