tend to agree, I think the sp has already factored in a miss on forecast, personally not expecting us to miss the sales forecast but don't think the profit side will be as high because over the last couple of months money spent on dianchi and south lake planning without revenue received yet on these projects. If a miss on sales it would only be minimal and if the story going farward is spelt out well then shouldn't have major affect.
Things I would like are
forecast meet and comments on future forecast, ie in the past the forecast has been hard to predict due to one of applications but going farward forecast will be more reliable as many projects in china are multi year. We have put out the forecast for next year but it should be noted that was before dianchi and with time we expect to update the market with a new forecast once we determine the affect dianchi will have on that.
Production, has been running 24/7 for some months now and is planned to continue. We have had a number of increases though the year and currently have more equipment on order to expand production to 40000 tons pa, the new equipment is expected to arrive later this quarter with set up and commissioning next quarter. With dianchi and other areas we are looking at coming on we are expecting we will need to increase production further. We feel in the second quarter we will be in a better position to make a call on a second factory and the size required.
xingyun, most to the work to date has been on the catchment area immediately around the lake, this month we have started on the lake, with three boats currently in operation. We expect xingyuan lake treatment to run for 2 years at 2500 tons per quarter. While treatment of the lake is under way we also expect on going of the catchment at 500 tons per quarter. Once lake and catchment is complete in 2 years this project will move to a ongoing maintenance program. Results to date have been excellent and have led to the dianchi project starting, we are also expecting other major lakes and catchment in this province to come online.
dianchi, work has commenced on our first project in the catchment. We plan on spending the next 6 months treating flows into the lake before starting on the lake itself. At this stage over the next 2 quarters we expect the catchment work to require 2000 tons per quarter. Once the lake starts we will envision 10000 per quarter require on this project and expect the project to run for 5 years then move to a maintenance program. Because of the size of the lake and catchment this will still require significant tonage ongoing in the maintenance faze.
wuhan, we have started this month on south lake, we expect this project to run for 12 months at 1000 tons per quarter, there are a number of other lakes within this area which also need treatment and we expect more lakes to be treated within this year taking the tonage required for this province to increase significantly past the 1000 per quarter.
europe we currently have 10 projects to start later this quarter and into to second quarter
brazil currently has 6 projects line up for this year
usa and Canada, a new project will commence later this quarter in Canada. In the USA our initial trail in Florida was very successful and the current application is about to finish, we are expecting follow up work to be coming shortly and will inform you once received.
