We always had a German Shepherd when we were growing up. They were good strong dogs with straight backs, good hips and great constitution. The crazy studbook breeders have changed the breed so much it is barely recognisable. Useless sloping backs, bad hips and joints and a greedy vet's dream. Get a bitzer from the pound. Crossbreeds rule!!
