Wyoming CO2 Conference July 13-14 in Casper

CASPER ? The fifth annual Wyoming CO2 Conference, hosted by the University of Wyoming's Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI), is scheduled July 13-14 at the Casper Events Center.

One of the nation's premiere events of its kind, this conference will include presentations and updates on current CO2 (carbon dioxide) operations in Wyoming, state and federal legislative updates and information on new technology and developments.

Tracy Evans of Denbury Resources will give the keynote address at 11:30 a.m. July 13 about Denbury's extensive investments in enhanced oil recovery. Representatives from EORI, Carbon Energy, Chevron, Devon Energy, DKRW Advanced Fuels/Medicine Bow Fuel and Power, Elk Petroleum, ExxonMobil, Linc Energy, the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and the Wyoming Pipeline Authority also will speak at the two-day conference.

The EORI works to help the state of Wyoming and its energy producers to recover a large resource of stranded oil in depleted oil reservoirs as rapidly, responsibly, and economically as possible. EORI is the only institution devoted to enhanced oil recovery in Wyoming oil fields.
