Mr Bond believed he could produce a barrel of international standard jet fuel for $30 a barrel, that was about 20 cents a litre.
"Traditionally for us to import a jet fuel is about $110 to $120 a barrel," he said.
His original commercial plan was to build a plant at Linc Energy's Chinchilla centre and produce 20,000 litres of jet fuel a day - a million litres a year.
Linc Energy has an memorandum of agreement with BP for its jet fuel.
>>>>Thats what he said on the news and also he could supply up to a third of australias demand for diesel and jet fuel. All sounds too good to be true.
