I have been a shareholder of STI for a number of years( on and off, but lately on). I understand the risks , did the research, applied gut feeling and hold a number I feel comfortable with. I have been watching this forum for a while and havent contributed because I didnt think I had anything worth saying.Prehaps I still havent.
I applaud both sides of the pro/ con STI argument. It is about balance. It is not about balance of hidden agendas. It is about making money. If Mr B is selling snake oil ( which I dont beleive he is), I dont care , as long as he has the ambition and capacity to sell, this is what I am investing in. Wanelad is right: he says he isnt investing in a stock that has no firm sales. Fine. Dont. I, amongst others are investing in the opportunity that STI will have sales. Different kettle of fish and both with value, one conservative , one with more risk. At the price STI are, and even on a pessimistic sales outlook, I am content.
