    Well said MJMJ.

The volatility of the share price reflects the volatile sales of Relenza.
Many of the Peter Cook apologists are finding excuses for Peter Cook not to announce positive price sensitive events like extension to the Japanese patents and to pretend that the idiot did not talk down good news.

ASX announcements is the proverbial tip of an iceberg. When these minimal information could revealed Peter Cook for the idiot he is, can you imagine access to the amount of incompetence, mistakes and idiotic decisions he make on a day-to-day basis.

Please can anyone explain how the following helps to reduce volatility and result in a steadily rising share price:

Peter Cook warned the market BTA is overvalued. For details read:

Peter Cook downgrade profit on 26 July 07 stating “Biota previously advised that its profit before tax for the year would be at least $18 million... Now that the June quarter royalties have been advised by GSK, Biota expects profit before tax to exceed $17 million. The press had a field day reporting the profit downgrade. 2 weeks later Peter Coo announced “Biota delivers Profit after tax of $20.2m

Yes, every shareholder including me would like to see a steadily increasing share prices instead of wildly swinging spikes. The fact is Peter Cook the idiot by talking down the company is not helping to steady the share price. It only depresses it.
Name us a CEO of another ASX listed company that talks down the company to “steady the sp”!

The best way to reduce the sp volatility is to reduce volatility in Relenza demand by GSK marketing it to best efforts and ensuring adequate product capacity. We only see GSK re-acting to market demand and production capacity restricting supply/royalties.
