yes, for the GFC. However, PB was only $2.5B, BER was $16b over three years ($5b ish per year) so not super huge numbers. The $900 cash was a one off initiative, not sur how much that end up costing.

The ongoing middle class welfare is what's hurting the budget, especially if revenue doesn't return to its growth rate pre GFC.
