I wish he was still in Parliament, too. Good treasurer, modelled his parliamentary style on Keating. But he had that terrible dummy spit after the 2007 election.
He could have been part of a truly great front bench - Abbott, Bishop, Costello, Turnbull, Morrison, Brandis - by far the smartest ensemble Canberra has seen for a while!
