He is my second favorite polly behind paul keating, both of them were great for entertainment value even if you didnt like all their policies.

you can see why costello modelled himself on keating, the way keating dealt with succesive opposition leaders was poetry. Costello was nearly as good. Shame about the ticker though.

I always had a secret desire to see abbott and costello running the country. Imagine the fun we could have had with that.
