costello was quite competent as a treasurer.
Collected tax, paid the bills.
Didnt mind him at all, didnt really leave any great legacy though. Just a paper balance sheet.
He had a chance for greatness but just didnt have the ticker to tap John on the shoulder. When it came to the crunch he just didnt have it in him and he was found wanting.
Competent treasurer yes. Greatest ever?
