    diligent, no one can deny Costello's contribution to Australia.

    But maybe you can address the questions I raised in my previous post.

    You may also want to revisit your claims about who's debt was paid down (see securities history below), and the claim about Costello reducing taxes, (considering the percentage of tax receipts to GDP went up under Costello).

    If you increase government receipts by almost a trillion dollars, sell assets, then it is a little easier to balance the budget.

    So what did Costello do with the other $800 billion after the debt of $90 odd billion was covered?

    Did Costello waste $800 billion or not?
