The question we have to ask ourselves is an individual process and conscience driven , or at least it should be.

Like it or not the ALP is a consitutional socialist organisation and socialism is based on hive mentality and hive obedience. Being a mob think heirachy it is very attractive to those who want to belong to group/cult and those who project their own insecurities empathetically on others to broaden and justify their reasoning. Public servants are classic play safe, play cunning socialists; women are by nature empaths; welfare recipients know where their bread is buttered and habitual party drones are a lost cause.

Socialism is not about the individual and here's the rub:- the good of the many must require the sacrifice of the few .... we are the few like it or not.
