False, Only 1300 Palestinian Refugees have arrived in Australia. They left Gaza before Israel destroyed the Rafah Crossing in June 24.
If Israel is happy for Palestinian refugees to leave Gaza, why destroy the only crossing they have to get out of Gaza? Because Israel wanted to stop Aid getting into Gaza, via the Egyptian Rafah crossing as they want to starve the 2 Million Palestinian residents still trapped in what has become a modern day equivalent of the Warsaw Ghettos.
Anyone leaving Gaza has to be approved by Israel and they complete extensive background checks with the Shin Bet security services.
