The best part that I can see from active investing, that passive investing can never replicate:
Active investing involves an active understanding in the value of the underlying companies I am holding.
I will never abrogate my responsibility for my own wealth to a passive fund. I will be totally blind as to the value of the underlying assets.
Knowing price, but not knowing value is the definition of being blind.
