All CarT treatment at the moment removes some of the patients white blood cells, reprogrames their Tcells in a lab, and then re-introduce this new supercharged blood back to the patient.
So this announcement from Pete Mac is not about PTX. But rather them now being able to do the Tcell supercharging onshore now instead of having to send it overseas.
They have been using another companies CarT, with government funding for some patients, for a while now.
