It didn't need a conspiracy theory. All it needed was measuring stations without Stephenson screens and hence unreliable and hot measurements.
You're the conspiracy guy. You're trying to argue that the science is conducting a conspiracy theory. They have valid reasons for what they do. And you have no valid argument for your opinions.
