Basically he says that USD is history. Chinese currency to increase dramatically giving 1 billion of them opportunity to buy much more, needing Oz metals, energy etc. The hyperinflation would mean that gold and commodity prices would soar.

This seems to be similar to what Oly has been saying for quite a while.

I bought CMR at $5 and $4 so probably at very best I could hope to break even. I have been buying BHP and RIO on the dips, only problem is the dips are getting deeper.

Hard to know how soon this could happen, but could be quick.

Alan Kohler showed a chart of US debt on the ABC News tonight. It is currently at 350% of GDP and was only 200% in 1929 the last big peak. Who really knows ?????
