    Hey Rory according to my wife "Zhu" is a well-known Chinese name. Shou she's never hear of, however it could be he's from Hong Kong as they have different interpretations of pinyin. They are not the same names.

    And be aware that no first names are direct translations from either cantonese or mandarin. There are no Franks or Peters in China. Everyone just picks a western name they like.

    (I know a Chinese girl who named herself Blanche. LOL)
