Chart manipulation with otherwise meaningless purchases on close to push an auction price down a pip, I would love them to get rid of this.
An AI bot, or hell something a good programmer could have manually put together in an hour 20 years ago could easily scan for these practices and stamp them out right away.
ASX does not care obviously despite it actually being contrary to their rules, but hopefully this is in the petition's scope as well.
Not many people like shorting, not a great many have access to it either, and it could be argued it does nothing for the health of the market, rather there is more arguement that it's a detriment, so I have no issues with people wanting it gone.
