Probably, but it wasn't an outlandish estimate. Getting the public onside is probably a bit over-rated in so far as the anti-PEP11 crew is concentrated into a small but noisy group. The Newcastle Herald recently published the results of an independent survey which demonstrated significant public support in the area. Key highlight of the survey was the public's strong desire for lower cost energy. PEP11 can actually deliver that.
