Unfortunately, the timing of settling this matter is controlled by the Mali government.
They will be difficult to deal with in terms of a reasonable and just settlement for LLL until it suits them not to be difficult.
Why are they being difficult? I suspect FFX fall out.
In the meantime LLL have said Mali are collecting duties and taxes during construction that were suppossed to be exempt.
I suspect when they fill their coffers with those $ they will be easier to deal with.
Mali know we will not cease construction while negotiating.
We will likely see a resolution closer to production time.
They have been slow with FFX talks and they will likely be slow with LLL.
We and the market are not aware of the precise claims by Mali in relation to FFX or LLL due to complex talks so we can only speculate.
We are very fortunate we are cashed up for construction otherwise i would be very worried.
So patience required.
