Apparently Foley had 2 stooges lodge fake applications in Leonora and after all the mentions and preliminary hearings etc that wasted about 6 months then he had it moved it to Perth where he lives. When it finally came on for hearing in Perth Foley claimed he was sick and got an adjournment. Took until about a month ago to actually have the hearing. Sounds like Foley had no case and now they are just waiting on a decision and costs. The case was about expenditure exemptions for 2021 when Cosmo didn't have access because the native title agreements were only finalized at the end of the year. Since then Cosmo met all of its expenditure requirements for 2022 so even if they lose which they don't see happening it's hard to see much of an outcome. Basically just a scam for Foley to try and get money. Sounds like Cosmo will be pursuing another corporate transaction once they finish with Foley.
