It's quite possible the price will keep going down - or shift direction. It's quite possible that both institutions and individuals will keep picking up shares at crazy prices. It's quite possible that some will equate share price to business performance and potential and continue to feed the frenzy. It's quite possible that people will compare share price with other less advanced companies and fail to compare market cap. It's quite possible that some will take advantage of the technicals of the share price movement and others will be frightened by the same.

I'm pretty sure those using HFT, shorting, or otherwise attempting to alter the course of sales don't intend harm either. Nor does the sociopath who is oblivious to the effect of their act on the fly whose wings are being yanked off or the psychopath who is able to externalise their acts of aggression by blaming it on others or the person with schizophrenia who listens to the voices in their head or the person with bipolar disorder who is simply acting on impulse. Others are aware that ignorance or lack of intention is not necessarily an excuse.
