    I noticed "Oh FFS" was trending on Twitter and guessed. Yep, Peta got the second highest award that an Australian can get.

    (Petra, which I visited, is in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and didn't get an Order of Australia.)

    I'm not sure why the Order of Australia decided to give a Hopoate to the rectum of Melbournians with this. After watching her questioning during lockdowns, my Liberal voting and Labor voting family in Victoria were united. They hated her guts and will be throwing things at the TV this morning. I don't watch her much and don't mind her, and appreciated her take on the Australia Post debacle.

    That said, she was a failure as Chief of Staff and is a relatively unknown commentator on Sky News, which very few people watch. I can see her getting an OAM or an AM, but an AO is way over the top. Her contribution to the country has not been that significant.
