It has been revealed by numerouse sources that both Chevron and WPL have sized up Artemis, BUT MEO chose to go with a focused major which was motivated to commercialise the gas, not just sit on it. I know I keep saying look at the MEO directors, but these guys have worked for the majors and know how they hoard gas, not to mention predatory development activities.

I am still gobsmacked by the SPA deals Chevron has pulled for Wheatstone, when FID is still more than a year away.

To be honest, in 12months time 90% of WA-360-P is likely to be held by the majors and it will be a distant memory, the challenge for us is to ensure we get 80% of fair market value, and don't get dealt a rough hand.
