re: petrol prices!ethanol test - stocko Don't believe everything u read on a servo window Pirate . They wouldn't know whats been delivered .
But the point that they haven't added ethanol is a good statement .
In Melb we've had mass problems with fuel quality .
Shell releases wonder fuel ,Optimax, which seems to be more hydroscopic [spelling] [water attracting ] than brake fluid is . Leave it for 2 long and you could drink the stuff , does wonders with tanks etc .Seems new bikes and multi carby cars can't use the stuff . Not to mention the varying degrees of octane rating that it and Synergy seem to have . The tricks to find a fresh delivery and keep the fingers crossed .
Which then leads us into all the servos that got caught adding heaps of touloune to there Tanks . I believe this habit might of stopped now but but but .

If only we could get Stocko to make us a mobile octane and fuel quality checker I'm sure there's sufficient market for all the petrol heads like moi.

I do like the simple ethanol test though Pirate and will give it a shot one day.
