Petrol is still too cheap while people still drive SUVs short distances and roads are gridlocked with cars that are empty other than the driver.
Some suggestions for those struggling with petrol prices: get a smaller or more fuel efficient car, catch public transport, cycle or walk. Surely one of these would cover most situations people feel they are "forced" to pay for petrol.
