If the unthinkable was to happen and Mel exits the NR, what happens? They do not have any interests outside the NR. Became a holder only when they announced that they had found the biggest gas discovery in NSW 'kingfisher'. This was before the loonies came on the scene and destroyed not only Mel, but us mum and dad investors. Not interested in a new Mel. Tried to average down but Mel still owes me 0.40 a share.
Im stuck. Dont hold any other stock and so do not have any capital gains to offset losses. Its okay for Mr Hockey to get awarded $200,000 for being defamed by Fairfax. Who will give me back my $170,000? ALL my retirement funds are gone. There are two sides to every story. For some this is just fun and games.
As I've said before the rich get richer and the poor continue to be screwed.
