Oilers often raise funds by farming down acreage either for cash or for a free carry through drilling (offset cost).

Right now MPO has a vast asset in the Liulin field and could use that either fully or in part to fund future work.

With the likes of Santos etc hungry for gas reserves a sale of some assets is a possibility.

In more progressive financial markets like the US debt funding for exploration is much more easily achieved than in Australia.

I would imagine they will use a combination of financing techniques.
