A canadian Investor mag reporting on the Yandera Project highlighted and headlined this part of the MGO release -
"The PNG Government has expressed interest in taking up a contributing interest in the Yandera Project. Any interest acquired would be held by the State owned company, Petromin Limited, which has been nominated by the PNG Government to hold its interest in a number of PNG resource projects, currently in or near feasibility stage."
This got me thinking as to whether the significance of this was overlooked by many. It was a price sensitive announcement so the "expressed interest" may be in an advanced stage.
"contributing interest" What form would it take how would it be executed, how could it impact the share price?
They appear to take serious % stakes.
Any thoughts out there on this?
Heres their website but googling find more
