My 17yro blue healer had to be put down, after very little vet costs all his life except the last year $5K, had no quames paying for his health. The local vet came to the property gave him the sleep needle and we buried him, same time as my marriage was splitting, very sad time, but in hindsight I was more upset about my best buddy Kip passing than my now ex-husband splitting, the dog was a better living being.

His daughter my other dog was 15yro, and later on, had developed elipepsy and after a really bad turn at 2am in the morning and a visit to the 24 hr vet, held her in my arms while he gave her the needle, no choice, was in her best interest and had to be done another very sad time, still miss both of them greatly.

Blows me away anyone can have a child, but u need a licence to own a pet.

Go figure!
