Hi @11up, I have been mulling over your question and the motivation behind it. I don’t see any conflict of interest to what your are proposing. I am also not sure if your person needed to disclose any holdings at the agm as to the nature of their share portfolio.
If there are people / parties who have a belief and/or interest in the region, then why not back more than one horse? To disclose or not to disclose, that is the question.
I personally don’t see any ethical issues with investing in more than one stock and being vocal, especially if they have purchased on market and without any shady dealings.
